National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. At this moment, many families are remembering their little loved ones that they only shared moments with, but those moments changed their lives forever. My husband and I are one of those families. We walked through a very painful journey of infertility due to my diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and having blocked and damaged fallopian tubes. In the almost 5 years of us trying to start a family, we have grieved the loss of 3 pregnancies. This, however, was not the end of our story…

Happy Valentines Day, Friends

Just sharing some love and appreciation for all of you incredible folks. I hope this day is filled with love, good food, and great times. I leave you with a classic jazz piece: My Funny Valentine sung by Sarah Vaughan. XOXOXOXO

“Gwaan Tessanne”

For anyone the follows The Voice, I’m certain that you saw Tessanne snag all 4 judges with her rendition of ‘Try’ by Pink. I’m also certain that if you are Jamaican or of Jamaican decent, you couldn’t help but have a certain level of pride to see Jamaican represented well. (Insert all types of “RAAEEEEE!!!” “BAAP BAAP BAAP” “SHE SONG TUNN UP” here)

Tessanne Chin is no novice. She has been performing for years; she even stated in her audition that it’s her bread and butter… as it should be. If you didn’t get a chance to watch her audition, take a look. Also, show your support. Like her on Facebook—-> HERE
