Modani Furniture

Our home is a reflection of who we are, as is our personal style. If I think about what I typically like to wear, I can definitely say that my home has many similarities to my closet.

Recently, I’ve been introduced to a furniture store called Modani that sells furniture at both physical locations and online. They have a large archive of furniture and home decor for every room in your house.

I picked some items from their store and made my own personal mood board.

I tend to be very fickle when it comes to designing my home, which is why I always choose neutrals for my big pieces. If you’re in the market for a new focal piece, check out their variety of modern sofas.

I choose large neutral pieces so that when the mood doth strike me, I can inexpensively change throw pillows, drapes, or other accent pieces that can completely refresh my room without breaking the bank.

I also really love bursts of color, hence my pillow choices and the beautiful sunny bookcase. Mixing patterns is another part of my M.O. Sometimes my pattern mixing isn’t overt, sometimes I like to break up shapes with different shapes, like adding a round mirror to break up the angles in the rest of the pieces. With my clothing choices, I tend to be very subtle in my pattern mixing.  At home, I love being surrounded by color, patterns, texture, and shiny things (my husband may like shiny things a little more than I do).

  1. Love all of the pieces. I cant grt over how much i like the design on the rug. I want to incorporate that design in my apartment somewhere but im not sure where yet

    1. You should go for it. If you love the piece, you’ll love it regardless of what room you put it in. Plus the pattern is a neutral so you can get a ton of life out of it.
